ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Business stood still Friday, March 10, as it seemed everyone was at the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce Business Expo.
Indeed, upward of 1,000 businesses attended the Expo.
The morning seminar, “Digital Disruption” was intriguing. Dave Moorman, founder of Dynasis, talked about the power what he calls digital disruption.
Global examples are the internet’s impact on education. An industry-wide example is how Netflix highjacked the video rental industry from Blockbuster.
Such digital disruption can happen in local markets as well. Many said that they felt they could not afford to miss Moorman’s talk.
The food was excellent as always. Local restaurants participating included: Village Tavern, Buca di Beppo, Gyro Chef Mediterranean, Southern Baked Pie Company, Another Broken Egg among many more.
“The Expo is a great event for our members. It gives them a chance to network with others while bringing their message about their business to a huge audience,” said GNFCC CEO Brandon Beach.
