When we take our vehicles in to be serviced, we sometimes get the use of a “loaner” vehicle while the car is out of commission. Why should computers be any different?
At Carmichael Consulting Solutions, we understand that your Apple or Windows PC is every bit as important to you as your car, and maybe even more so. As a result, we have launched a “loaner” program, whereby we provide you with the loan of a comparable PC while we repair yours. The cost of the loaner is included in the repair fee, so you don’t spend an extra penny to stay up and running while we work on your equipment.
Here’s how the program works:
- When you drop off your PC for repair or service, we ask for a deposit, authorized (but not charged) on your credit card, and you walk away with a fully functional PC.
- You enjoy use of the loaner equipment during the repair, and for 24 hours after we notify you the equipment is ready for pickup. (If you cannot pick up your PC within 24 hours, we will charge you a small rental fee until you can.)
- You can use the PC for all your normal activities during the repair period.
- When you return the loaner and pick up your PC, we wipe the unit, so none of your data can be accessed by anyone at a later time.
