Tyler Jones

President

After almost 15 years working in corporate Information Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler Jones left his role as Vice President of Service Operations with a national payroll provider in 2011 to start Carmichael Consulting Solutions, LLC. 

Jones’ passion for technology coupled with his passion for customer service comes much to the delight of our customers. He is ITIL certified in Service Management, a Certified Support Manager with SSPA and SCP, a Clio Certified Consultant, a Dropbox for Business partner, an Apple Certified Support Professional and also has the Apple Mobile Technical Competency certification. Jones is a regionally known broadcaster and author and is very active with his church, Alpharetta Presbyterian Church.

Neil May

Chief Technology Officer

With over 17 years in expertise from organizations ranging from large financial services to high-tech cybersecurity startups, Neil May is a consummate technologist. More than that, Neil deeply cares about the customer experience and treats employees like family. Neil is an avid tennis player, D & D enthusiast and whiskey lover. Neil is originally from South Florida which makes him a Miami Heat and Dolphins fan, but currently resides in Loganville, Ga which is Bulldawg country. Neil is planning and executing the next steps in Carmichael’s vision to disrupt the MSP market.

Lee Cullom

Chief Revenue Officer

Lee Cullom is an entrepreneur and technologist whose unique blend of technical expertise and customer-service acumen has driven the creation of thriving businesses with best-in-class technologies. His most recent venture, Northcraft Analytics, which was recently acquired by private equity, saw exponential growth with its SingularIT Installable CIO Dashboard vision.

Like Lee himself, Northcraft’s technologies specialized in simplifying complex subjects to make the most important pieces of information accessible and the required actions apparent and were recognized by Gartner Group in 2014 & 2015 as one of the top-rated solutions for IT Operations Business Value dashboards.

Since 1996, he has held a variety of roles in information technology, including process consulting, presales, implementations, internal IT and management. Prior to launching Northcraft Analytics, he spent much of his time with software manufacturers like Oracle, Remedy Corporation, Peregrine, BMC Software, and CA.

Lee has his BBA in Management Information Systems from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

Kevin Pentecost

Marc Willingham

System Architect

Most recently serving as a Technical Support Specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Marc Willingham is charged with helping map out and maintain our “flight path,” as well. His focus is developing superior, sustainable solutions for our broad and varied client base while evaluating new technologies, so our customers have access to the most efficient, tech-forward solutions. 

With 25 years of IT, engineering, sales and consulting experience, Marc has worked for and been certified by 13 Fortune 100 firms and supported IT in 45 states and seven countries. He describes himself as “indomitable” and has proven it, running low voltage cables outside in -17° temperatures and lugging workstations and monitors down a tarmac in 110° heat.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University. In his spare time, Marc runs 5k and 10k races, plays flag football, and donates time helping ensure needy children have meals.

Kenneth Florence

Service Engineer

Ken Florence brings his dedication to excellence and customer-focused attitude to the position of Customer Service Engineer, where he is tasked with providing superior assistance and support to Carmichael Consulting clients. Prior to joining Carmichael, Ken worked as a Regional Support Technician with Tolt Solutions, where he fine-tuned his customer service skills and IT troubleshooting abilities. A native of Atlanta, he also spent five years with Toys ‘R Us, working his way up to the position of Asset Protection Specialist. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science from DeVry University in Computer Information Systems and is a programming member of the Independent Game Developer Association.

Amaya Hernandez

Network Architect

Meet Amaya, a tech professional with five years of industry experience. Starting at the iconic Genius Bar at Apple, he honed his troubleshooting skills and delivered exceptional customer support for three years. Transitioning seamlessly into the role of a technical specialist for a Steel B2B company, Amaya spent an additional three years navigating the intricacies of a specialized industry. Fueled by an insatiable curiosity, he is now on a trajectory to dive into the dynamic realm of DevOps, with a keen interest in cloud architecture. Amaya stands out with an unwavering commitment to continuous learning, leveraging a unique skill set cultivated through experiences at the Genius Bar and within the specialized B2B environment. Ready for the next chapter, Amaya brings a fresh perspective and determination to excel in the ever-evolving landscape of technology, poised to make a significant impact with innovation and excellence.

An Nguyen

Service Engineer

With experience working on large, cross-country network buildouts as a Junior Technician with former employer Arobase Group, An Nguyen is certain to be a valued member of the Carmichael Consulting Solutions team. He handles a variety of tasks for our clients, based on the day and the issue, from basic phone support to high-level network administration.

In addition to his six years of IT-related experience and extensive skill set, Bautsch is also an Apple Certified Technician. Nevertheless, he considers network operations to be his strong suit, and he hopes to grow his technical skills even more in that area.

Jorge Jimenez

Service Engineer

Jorge Jimenez joins Carmichael’s multi-award winning support team as a Service Engineer to assist our customers via phone, email, remote and onsite support, handling whatever technical issues they face. Jorge’s great customer service skills, “can do” attitude, and technical acumen make him a terrific addition to our team.

Previously, Jorge provided IT support for Ole Mexican Foods, where he spent 10 years in the company’s IT organization, working in the QA, Helpdesk and Customer Service operations.

In addition, Jorge single-handedly configured and deployed mobile devices for a 500-employee company with users scattered across ten states.

He is very interested in cybersecurity and plans to pursue a career in the Cybersecurity field, specifically Penetration Testing.

In his spare time, Jorge builds computers and indulges his creativity by editing videos.

Nikolas Pennell

Service Engineer

Nikolas has most recently been working in IT with a retail support desk, which is certainly high pressure.  Nikolas has been interested in technology for years, pursuing certifications in CompTIA and Azure prior to working for Carmichael.  Nikolas is eager to help and has strong acumen in technology for a relative newcomer.

Lee Jones

Office Manager

Lee is responsible for the organization and coordination of day-to-day office operations. Whether answering phone calls, managing payroll, bookkeeping or paying the bills, Lee uses her organization and management skills to keep things running smoothly. Prior to joining Carmichael Consulting Solutions, LLC, Lee was a very active stay-at-home mom. Among other volunteer work, she was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and PTA VP/Chairperson where she led meetings, managed programs and events and coordinated volunteers. Prior to leaving the workforce, Lee was a preschool teacher in Alpharetta, GA. Lee is active in her church, enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Christian Reyes

Service Engineer

Christian has been in IT for 3 years, doing everything from workstation support to network administration. He is looking forward to an exciting new career in technology!
